Hi everyone, thanks for your patience while we change our website. While we are in this transition please feel free to visit our forum, the Tartan Pride site, or our Facebook page

OUR HISTORY:

The Highlander Archery Club at Edinboro University was founded in 2008 by archer and  student Tim Case “with the goal of bringing archery to the masses in a more efficient and frequent manner.” Case  has been an activist for the sport for many years, inspired by Ted Nugent’s ‘never defend, always promote’ grassroots activism message.

Highlander Archery has 6 National Archery in the Schools Program certified instructors and has introduced over 2000 new people to the sport of archery since its creation. By conducting archery events for Discover Presque Isle, Presque Isle State Park's annual fund raiser, Highlander Archery has been able to share this life sport with demographics that are seldom exposed to archery except by Hollywood movies.

2010 is shaping up to be a banner year for Highlander Archery. We will be conducting our 4th "Discover Archery at Discover Presque Isle" event and hope to expand it even further than 2009. We also will be conducting various training sessions and other events throughout the year.
